Con - I didn't realize they are button activated (vs. movement activated).

So I now have to depend on my 4 yr old to make the conscious decision to turn them on to be safe. And off to save batteries. Or now I have to remind my kid to turn them on and off or have to remember to run them on and off for them.

Plus remember to recharge the boots, and if I forget - deal with the fight that will ensue with my kid not wanting to wear them if they're not working.

All way more mental load that I don't need as a parent.

They are also very heavy.

Pro - well made and well insulated

They're nice boots. They light up. My daughter likes them, I just think they're maybe a little bit pricey but if that's not a concern then go for it. Hope that helps

These are great boots - No signs of wear after a season of use. Material and build quality are both top notch. Maybe a little pricier than they could be, so definitely have a look locally to see if you can find the same for cheaper there.

The boots are warm and very well made. Much better than Walmart brands and keep my son’s feet warm. Comfy inside with top drawstring make it easy to get them on. My son has wide feet and the fit is perfect and true to size

I got these Absolute Little Kid Light Up Snow Winter Boots for my 9 year old and he absolutely loves it. It perfectly fit him as well. From his POV these are the bestest. From my point of view I like it mostly because of the tremendous amount of thermal insulation this boot offers. Before I sat to write this review, son and dad just came home from sledding. He went wearing these boots and came home with dry and warm feet. Unfortunately, like me he is also cold in his hands and feet so for him to come home unlike earlier times not shivering and telling me Mommy, I need to warm up my feet" is a big deal. So this is the biggest plus of these winter boots along with the fact that they are totally waterproof. They are sturdy but stylish at the same time just think of what beauty combined with strength and power can do. Also, they seem to be nicely made. There is also a light-up whistle on this pair but we are yet to use it. The package comes with a USB charger too. This is a nice feature to have as the Nebula is beautiful to look at (we have a nightlight projector with galaxy theme in our son's bedroom and the scenes are beautiful) but one can also do without it. What I would request the seller is to bring down the price a bit to make it more affordable. Whatever the price range is, this is for sure a well made boot which I am hoping will last equally well.
